Sign-ups due by 3PM each Wednesday afternoon Cost: $25 to join the league, a $5 entry fee each night, and a $5 wager with your opponent on the match. Time: 5:30 PM shotgun each Wednesday evening. This nine-hole match play event runs every Wednesday night from May through September. It is a great way to meet other Men’s Club Members and take a break from the busy work-week. By the end of the season, over 100 men typically participate in at least one of the Wednesday events. After a one-time entry fee of $25, participants put $5 in the pot each night to play a singles match against an opponent picked by the Pro Shop. All matches are net and weekly prizes are awarded for best net and gross performances. There are also KP and “Hit the Green” prizes on the Par 3’s. Players should check-in to the Pro Shop by 5:15. Groups go off in foursomes in a shotgun start at 5:30. A variety of different tee combinations and formats are used over the course of the season to keep it interesting for players of all skill levels. Following golf each week, the club offers an optional, buffet-style dinner as well as anything off the regular menu, followed by Wine and Cigars on the deck. |
