Who owns and operates Bear Creek Country Club?
Bear Creek was purchased April 1,1993 by National Golf Properties, a Real Estate Investment Trust traded under the symbol TEE on the New York Stock Exchange. The Club is operated and managed by American Golf Country Clubs, a division of American Golf Corporation. As the world's largest golf course management firm, AGCC currently manages over 60 private clubs in the United States and United Kingdom. Do I have to be a member to host an event at Bear Creek?
Membership is not required to host an event at Bear Creek. We offer full service catering. On what days do you host golf tournaments?
Golf Tournaments are hosted on Mondays only. What amenities does Bear Creek Country Club offer?
At Bear Creek, you'll have access to an 18-hole championship golf course with two practice facilities, a golf shop, club storage, locker rooms, a fitness room with a sauna and steam room and dining, banquet and meeting facilities. What types of memberships are available?
Full Golf Transferable, Corporate, Associate, Social Golf and Social Memberships are available. Please see the Club's Rules and Regulations for further details. What capital improvements have occurred at Bear Creek?
American Golf has spent over $1 million in golf course and clubhouse projects since its purchase in 1993. These improvements include the rebuilding of various greens, an ongoing fairway sanding and drainage program, cart path improvement projects, and remodeling and new carpet in the clubhouse. Currently, the Club is working on a bunker renovation project, as well as improving drainage throughout the golf course. |
Does Bear Creek Country Club allow public use?
A limited number of non-member tournaments will be held on Mondays during certain times of the year. Please keep in mind that most of these tournaments are charity functions, which raise a great deal of money for our community
Who in my family will be entitled to use the Club's facilities?
All memberships offered at the Club are family memberships. The primary Member, his/her spouse, and any children under the age of 22 living in the Member's home or attending school on a full-time basis will be permitted to use the Club. Please see the Club's Rules and Regulations for further details. May I bring guests to the Club?
Yes. Members may bring guests to the Club. Certain time restrictions and guest fees will apply. Please see the Club's Rules and Regulations for further details. Is my membership transferable?
The Full Golf Transferable Membership is transferable. At the time of reissue, the outgoing Full Golf Member will receive 50% of the current membership deposit paid to the Club for the reissued membership. Please see the Club's Rules and Regulations for further details. As a Transferable Member, how would I transfer my membership?
If you decide to transfer your membership, you may bring an interested buyer to the Club or request to be placed on Bear Creek's Priority Resale List. When a Priority Resale List exists, Bear Creek Country Club will sell four original transferable memberships from the Club and then one from the Priority Resale List. This will continue until a list no longer exists or capacity is reached. |
